What, posting every other year isn't keeping a blog? who knew??? I took the kids back to idaho during spring break so we could visit my mom - and I could have a much needed visit with dear friends. We had a wonderful time and only gave my mom the flu ... nothing else!
I was able to see my dear friend Holly who i haven't seen in 14 years --- who, by the way, is more beautiful now than she was in college.... I think I have to hate her for that :D.... Saw my sweet friend stephanie ... my kids still are talking about how much fun it was there - she's still the party girl! Then I was able to see my bestest friend ever Angie -- loved spending time with her even in the midst of her father just passing away. Love you angie!
It was a great week - in spite of getting the flu.... I missed my husband terribly and he was so lonely he did housework ... haha jk baby!
Went to the house I grew up in and was saddened to see the change. Growing up it was just a few of us neighbors clustered together... now it's a conglomerate of houses .... I know all about progress and change, but I'd sure have loved to see some things remain simple and unchanged.... that's just the sentimental side of me I guess!
We're home now - back to the business of life in the fast lane and wondering where in the heck time is flying to?? I'm a lucky girl!

The last time I saw dad's house I was sad too. All those fruit trees... gone.
